Inter-Urban Arthouse Artistic Director and artist Wolfe Brack will join us to share his story and his art. Our musical guest Mikal Shapiro is a singer/songwriter who grew up in the desert in the 70's and is a devout arts advocate and supporter.
As summer fades and autumn arrives, we come together to honor the turning of the seasons with a community ritual centered on balance. The autumn equinox is a rare moment in the year when day and night stand equal — a natural reminder of the harmony we seek in our own lives. Our gathering will be led in a gentle, secular style, open to all who wish to attend. The ritual will invite both participants and observers, ensuring everyone can engage at their own comfort level. Those who choose to participate may share reflections on balance in their lives, engage in guided meditation, and join in a closing gesture of gratitude. Observers are warmly welcomed to witness, listen, and hold space for the group.

We sit down with Kansas City–based composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer Adee Dancy, better known as SISTERBOT! Sisterbot explores themes of self‑love, queerness, gratitude, trauma processing, and cosmic identity through episodic, narrative songwriting. Their work aims to be an invitation to audiences to embrace authenticity and shared vulnerability. Sisterbot is the genre-defying music project led by Kansas City composer and cellist Adee Dancy. Originally performing solo under the name Adee Rocket Dancy, they shifted to the name Sisterbot in 2021 just before releasing their debut album Truth House—a cathartic, concept-driven collection exploring trauma, rebirth, and identity.
