The Artists_ MO, Michaela Ousnamer is a Kansas City–based visual artist whose work explores growth, resilience, and the relationship between imagery and narrative. With more than nine years of experience as a freelance artist, she brings a thoughtful and expressive voice to the local arts community. A graduate of William Jewell College, Michaela has also studied at UMKC, Johnson County Community College, and the Paris College of Art, where she created a published artist’s book blending words and visual storytelling. Her large-scale painting Growth has been featured in community events such as KC Disability Pride, reflecting her commitment to creating art that connects and uplifts.
