My art emphasizes the individuality of each pet, blending realism with a colorful twist to create portraits that not only look like your pet but also evoke the joy they bring into our lives.
Experience
With 10 years of experience in watercolor paint and 6 of those in pet portraits, I have created numerous commissioned works, showcasing my ability to highlight the distinct features and characteristics that make your pet one-of-a-kind.
Paul Starling, originally from Topeka Kansas, Paul has spent the last decade plus floating around the collaborative and quirky Kansas City open mic and open jam scene and his free wheeling songwriting style has been heavily influenced by local weirdos such as The Matchsellers and the Kansas City Bear Fighters. There is joy to be found in all aspects of life and Paul enjoys flipping over the rocks that others overlook to find song writing inspiration, taking particular delight in watching the audience’s faces go through the stages of ‘did he really just say what I thought he said? Yes I guess he did’.
